Just Fine
Sleep, sleep well, today is through,
Tomorrow, we know, begins anew
the cycle which we’ve come to know;
Near end, it lets excitement grow.
But minutes pass the hours by,
The weekend, as we know, will fly
in light of all the tears I’ve cried,
Again we’ll have to say goodbye.
Before our time comes to an end,
The knowledge that I have to lend
is that my heart will break and bend,
But your return will help it mend.
So quickly, leave your things behind,
Of sole importance, you and I
will savor every bit of time,
And for the day you’ll be all mine.
And for the day we’ll be just fine.
